Hello, digitec offers 2 years warranty and Lexar offers 5 years warranty. Does anyone have experience with warranty claims to Lexar? Thank you.

Well it's the typical Digitec Problem.
When they add Items to their Shop they just do a poor job nowadays (last 5 years if not longer).
Those who add the items simply don't check things like "how long is the warranty for XY Item".
Instead of doing a quick check/research on the manufacturers website (or even a quick check/call with their distributor) they simply write 2 Years Warranty.

So many times i had to write "hey guys are you sure this Product has only 2 Years Warranty and not 5 Years" like on the manufacturers website and also on the product it self?
Then they usually fix it.. but even then they do a poor job.
Same as they did on the Lexar NM790 Series... they fixed it on 512GB up to 4TB Version but they didn't on the 8TB Version.

One could argue ok maybe the 8TB Version came much later and they forgot it again.
The thing is they did the exact same mistake on the Samsung NVMe SSDs 980 Pro...  990 Pro Series.
And also if people don't remind them that they should also fix that for the Heatsink version, you simply have to remind them for every single scenario.
if you check for example: Lexar NM790 (with Heatsink) the 1TB and 4TB Version has 5 Years Warranty and the 2TB wasn't fixed, so it has only 2 Years.
Even the newest Samsung NVMe SSD Series "9100 Pro" some have 3 Years some have 5 years, even though all of them should have 5 Years.
It's a freakin mess.

The nice thing on the digitec store is, that once you bought an item you simply can quickly log-in and check if your item XYZ is still under warranty.
And how long exactly... 
But if you bought the item before they fixed the warranty length, it simply won't recalculate.
You have to remind yourself not to dispose of e-waste after 3 years when it might have a defect, but to send it to digitec in case it's still under warranty.
which it would be in this scenario.

Long story short... it's a mess.
