I can't say what kind of connector the DSC RX100 VII 2025 will have and whether the camera will still be available. However, I rarely used the connector and used the universal Sony BC-TRX/W charger, which charges the batteries of my various Sony devices much more efficiently. I then also read the data from the SD card on the PC. I always carry a fully charged spare battery for the cameras so that I don't run out of power prematurely when I'm out and about.
