Question about FRITZ! Box 5590 Fibre XGS-PON
Hello everyone, I have a Sunrise fibre optic connection. Does this router work with this network and how does the box need to be configured for everything to work? Thanks for your help!

Hello Walcon... I pursued this very question over half a year ago... Short answer to your question: YES!
But you need a lot of patience with the support and you have to be lucky to have the right person on the line. Just don't give up and keep drilling until the box works.
My prerequisite was that I had the last mile from Swisscom, which Sunrise rented from Swisscom...in other words, the final registration went via the Swisscom Fiber activation page, to which Sunrise was finally able to give me the activation code.

Thank you for your quick reply. It's exactly the same for me, Swisscom fibre optic connection and Sunrise is sitting on it. I have connected the Sunrise Fibre Box 3 and it works (hopefully). However, I would like to switch to the Fritzbox. What did you have to configure on the Fritzbox?
