Hello, I have a Captiva R62-649 that I bought from you. Would this CPU cooler actually fit in the case because of the height? Is it also generally compatible? Thank you very much for your quick reply.

Depends on the case. I have the be quiet! Pure Base 600 Black, so it fits. But the part is already big.
