Question about Viewsonic M1+

Hello, I received the M1 + last week, but I am having problems connecting to my Macbook Retina 12-inch (2017), as well as to my iphone Xs. Can I connect via wifi at all? Do I need a special cable? Also, Netflix does not work.... i.e. only partially.... the search 'link' cannot be tapped.... do you have exact instructions for me? Thank you!

Good morning, I always use it via Chromcast with my smartphone and switch on my hotspot from the mobile phone. Wireless transmission is not possible with this product without accessories. Greetings Pascal
