Question about Sony Ubp-X800
Hello, I recently bought the UHD player and am satisfied so far. However, I have the problem that it hardly reacts at the beginning, i.e. it can hardly be switched on and the HOME screen is not displayed. Eventually, after trying it out several times (and getting upset), it works, but it is very tedious... Does anyone else have this problem or is my device faulty? Many thanks

I'm having exactly the same problems....I've already taken it in for repair and got it back in the same condition,I've locked it wrong???
Yesterday evening the same thing happened again....the sony signet appears...the bluray rotates.... but stays on and the TV screen remains black????
I bought a good 4K-capable HDMI cable and since then I have had no problems.
Maybe "normal" or cheaper HDMI cables are overburdened with the data volume of the player?
Why don't you try it out? Hopefully it will work for you too...
