Question about Panasonic Dp-Ub424

Hello, I wanted to make an HDMI connection to a beamer with this player and a connection to a soundbar with the second HDMI output. Now the soundbar (Samsung S61T) is not recognised as such and therefore no audio is output at the second HDMI output. Does anyone know a trick or do I have no choice but to return the device?

In the manual page 11 /chapter "Connection to an amplifier / receiver " it is described what has to be set in the sound configuration.
