Hello, I would like to add RAM to my Cisco UCSC-C240-M5SX server, currently I have 4x 64GB and in the CISM I see the following spec for each strip: Capacyity 65536Mb , chanel speed 2933Mhz, DDR4, Synchronous,Registered (Buffered), part number M393A8G40MB2. I suppose that's OK, but I don't know if Cisco would block the RAM if it wasn't supplied by them.

I was able to do some research and unfortunately could not find anything clear and guaranteed that I could share here. In such a case, I would contact the manufacturer directly regarding a possible blockage of components. Otherwise, I agree with you.
