Question about Ubiquiti U-POE-AF

Hello, I'm getting really desperate. I had an access point (I can't remember which one) in the bedroom connected to an Internet socket. Suddenly it stopped working. No more light either. So I ordered the Ubiquiti U6+. Connected it in the bedroom: Nothing happened. I also tried various Internet sockets. Then I saw that the Ubiquiti U-POE-AF in the living room was flashing white very slowly. So I ordered a new one (this one here). I received it today and plugged it in: the light was white for the first few minutes, and then it started flashing slowly again. I connected the new access point in the room, again nothing, as if no power was coming through. I tried it with a laptop, connected it in the room, and it worked, it received internet immediately. Maybe someone here has some tips before I completely lose my nerve?

Hello, so from my point of view I would say that the app is trying to install an important update. The first thing I would try is to do a hard reset. If it doesn't work, maybe contact support. But it should actually be possible to start the AP again. Provided, of course, that the power supply is OK.

Do I understand correctly: The socket in the bedroom leads into the living room via in-house cabling and is connected there (via POE adapter) to the router?
What happens if the access point is connected directly to the POE adapter with a patch cable and the POE adapter is connected directly to the modem/router?
