Hello, just wanted to clarify - isn't it a 12 MP action camera, not 8.2? I'm pretty sure I've seen multiple times thats it is 12 MP.

The 12 MP are meant for the photo mode of this camera. But only if the "WIDE" angle mode is enabled.
In video mode you only have around 8.2 MP.
