This product (DDR3, 1066 MHz, 2x 4GB) is labelled as Mac Memory/ Notebook Memory by Corsair, therefore it must work in a Mac (Type: DDR3, MacBook/MacBook Pro: Mid-2010, Early-2011, Late-2011. iMac: Mid-2010, Mid-2011, Late-2012, Early-2013, Late-2013; Frequency: 1066 MHz), though I used it in a HP Notebook using Intel processor i5 and Windows 10 (64+) operating system. Since the plug-in socket (DDR3) is the same for Macs and Notebook Intel mainboards and the memory frequency matches the requirement (1066MHz), it works very well in my notebook.
