Hello Together Quick question... I have a 750 watt power supply (and don't really want to replace it), which is also the recommendation for this card (750 watts). The ASUS GeForce ROG STRIX RTX 3080 O10G Gaming has a recommendation of 850 watts. I am aware that the second card has a higher clock speed, but I wonder which card would be the more sensible and better solution in the end. (Price-performance, use, etc.) (With the O10G it would then also be necessary to get a better power supply).
Hello JaimiJohns
Asus has created a spreadsheet regarding the recommended wattage of the PSU (see: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub...). It also depends on what kind of CPU you are using. As long as you don't tweak the O10G too much (and/or the power consumption of your PC stays within the normal range) this shouldn't be a problem. To be on the safe side, you can always use a PSU calculator (https://outervision.com/power-supp...) to calculate the approximate power required by your system.
