Hello together A layman's question, but I'm currently researching and can't find any clear answers. Maybe the experienced users here can provide me with answers :) Initial situation: EFH with UDM in the living room. I would now like to operate additional APs (NanoHD) in the basement and upstairs for "better" WLAN coverage. Conceived procedure: New cabling from the distribution box in the basement -> 1x to NanoHD basement and 1x NanoHD upstairs. I think I need a PoE (Out) capable switch for this so that the two NanoHD APs can be operated directly with PoE. Can this switch Ubiquiti US-8-60W (8 ports) operate this way? Or is there a problem here? I had originally considered the Ubiquiti USW-LITE-8-POE, but the delivery date for this is still unknown. What do I need to bear in mind here? Or are there other recommendations for action? According to the electrician (for new cabling), a PoE-capable switch would have to be installed in the distribution box. Sorry if the question is too imprecisely described :) Thanks for your answers

Yes, you can operate the two Nanos on the US-8-60W without any problems, or if you don't want a PoE switch, you can also use the PoE adapters supplied. In my opinion, however, operation with a PoE switch is more elegant.
