The cameras can be connected to different Wi-Fi networks, but it is easier if all cameras are connected to the same network. However, if you want to use different networks, you can connect each camera individually to a different network. However, a 2.4 GHz network must be used during setup and you can also add a 5 GHz network afterwards.
