Hi!

All B450, B550 and X470, X570 motherboards will support the new Ryzen 5000 CPUs. However, you have to be careful with the 400 series as they will not support all features of the new CPUs (e.g. PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs and more) and the updates will come a bit later after the launch.

Recommended are B550 and X570, which are 100% compatible with the new Rzyen 5000 CPUs via a BIOS update (to AGESA v1.1.0.0), which should be available at launch. You can usually find the download links on the manufacturer's website by looking up the exact description of your motherboard.

For the update you need a USB stick with FAT16 / FAT32 formatting and 1 GB storage capacity on which you have to load the CAP file. You can find more details here: https://www.asus.com/us....

I also think that there will be quite a few videos on Youtube explaining exactly this procedure so that the installation works smoothly.
