Creality 3D printer K1 Max
Hello, Is there now a V2 of the K1 Max that has the new "Creality K1/K1 Max Extrusion Kit New Version" already installed ex works? And has this printer already received some changes so that it is usable out of the box? I have seen some videos now where the printer has some shortcomings, but these videos are a few months old and I would be very interested to know if there is now a V2 or similar of the printer? Thank you very much!
I ordered the printer a week ago and received one with a new hotend. But had to send the printer back because of a defect. The replacement device I received this week still has the old hotend... so it seems to be a coincidence whether you get the new or the old one.
In my opinion, the K1 Max is more than usable "out of the box". I manufacture all parts
for an Opulo "pick and place machine" with excellent quality and extreme speed.
It is important to understand the correct configuration for the 3D model and the filament used for the machine. With the wrong settings, you can also produce "junk" on a Prusa or Bambu. It depends on how you define "perfect" for yourself and what the parts are used for. Before commissioning the K1, follow the instructions/instructions, as a forgotten transport lock (printing table) can quickly lead to disaster and the supposed judgement that "the printer is bad". My conclusion, a successful machine that immediately produced a perfect 3D-benchy in 16 minutes during the first print.
The K1 Max has already had the new extruder installed ex works for months. I have already printed several hundred hours with the printer and have not noticed any problems. The only "modification" was unhooking the Bowden cable from the guide hooks.
Hello, better leave it at that and go for a Prusa or Bambu. There you can build a bit yourself and learn something from it or then a bit more expensive, but perfect from the start. I currently have these two and the K1 Max. I've had several printers before, but I've never had anything as miserable as this one! It already had a new extruder. I had to completely rebuild the printer (gantry, new rods, new motors etc.) to get reasonably good prints. Very sad, I was about to throw it away!
