Hello,
Yes it is compatible and it is quite possible to display at the maximum resolution of the screen at 60Hz as long as the usb-c to Displayport or HDMI adapter allows it.

DisplayPort is plug&play and universal, as long as you can connect your computer it will display....
Only doubt: I don't know if apple supports HDR functionality on its laptops.
