Question about HyperX Fury

Hey everyone I have installed this ram on my asus strix z270f. Now the problem actually the ram should run with 2666mhz on this board that it is from the 200 series but it only runs with 2133 mhz! How can I get it to run at 2666mhz I have already loaded the XMP profile but it did nothing?

This RAM is designed by the manufacturer (HyperX) for 2133 MHz and can reach this clock rate simply by using the XMP profile preset by the manufacturer. Anything above this falls under "manual overclocking" and is possible, but is not guaranteed by the manufacturer (therefore this RAM has no XMP profile above 2133).

Manually overclocking the RAM even higher is possible, but especially with RAM it can take a lot of time and attempts to get this overclocking stable.

My advice is to use the XMP profile and run the RAM "only" at 2133. The extra effort is not worth the little 'more' in performance and the lower stability.

there is a position in the bios called memory frequency or something like that and there you can set the correct frequency for your ram.
