Hi guys, I would like to colour match my Strimer with all the other Rgb components (change colours) I have an Asus Rog Strix Z490-A and everything else is from Corsair so it should run through Icue. Is there a way to do this? If not, is there somehow a solution to adjust the strimer via software?

I control the Strimer via my mainboard software. Unfortunately not optimal, but better than the control board that comes with it.

I have connected the stirmer to a connector on the corsair rgb hub and now it can be controlled as an rgb stipe and I can control each individual cable as I want.

Hey Prof_schorro,
Unfortunately, the Lian-Li Strimer can only be regulated physically and not with software. You get a small control board included, which can be mounted at the PCI slots. With it you can control the pattern and the brightness.
Therefore, no, integration into a software does not work.

I would also recommend a Strimer Plus if possible (availability is poor - https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/lian-li-strimer-plus-20cm-modding-sleeving-14911932). As far as I know, you only have regulation with a physical controller, BUT the luminosity is massively better.
With the normal Strimer, the RGBs only sit where the cable comes out and so they shine through the plastic tubes. This means that the intensity drops sharply, especially when the cable is bent a little more.
