How can I use these headphones if I want to take the sound from the TV 3.5mm jack? What additional plugs, cables etc. do I need? - or does it not work at all?

these headphones are wireless noise-cancelling headphones. You can't use a cable.
With the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth device, you can make hands-free calls and listen to music without a cable connection.
