How do I plug my 5 pin fan into this controller? I don't see how to get from this 5 pin fan connector to this 9 pin USB connector...?

I mean the Thermaltake Riing Plus RGB fans. These do not have separate cables, but a single 5-pin cable for the power and the RGB.

I don't know any 5-pin fans. Basically, the controller is connected as follows:

The controller has 3x 9-pin connectors on 3 sides each (3rd picture on this site), where I connected the Riing fans. But I think only 7 of 9 are occupied; upper row for the fan (4) and the lower one for the LED (3). The fourth connector (4 pin) in this row has to be connected to the mainboard or in my case to the Aquero. This can then be used to control the 3 fans.
If you do not connect a fan and LED with a 9-pin connector, please check first where the +12V are!

The LEDs are controlled via the right connector in picture 4 (3 pin). In my case, this must be connected to the ASUS mainboard connector ADD Header (+5V) so that I can use AURA on the fans.

The last connector is for the power supply.

You can also read the above in the manual:
