Question about Netgear Aircard 4G modems
How far is the range outdoors? We would like to do a live stream of our sporting event with several smartphones. Now we have an app on the smartphones that can connect via wifi and we can determine via a tablet which smartphone will stream live directly. However, all devices must be on the same network.
I have the antenna with an aircard810 in use and it connects behind thick walls... so it should be enough to transmit over a place in the open... greetings... radu
I can't estimate the distance... but in any case it is advisable to use an antenna, as the WLAN device will work better... the range will also be greater... i guess it is also better outdoors than indoors... so a football field length should be ok... in any case the width of a field is far enough... try it out... but the antenna is worth the money...
