How is HDR support to be understood here? According to the manufacturer, the monitor has DP 1.2 installed, but is still supposed to support HDR. Is this somehow interpolated or does the operating system still recognise the screen as HDR-compatible?

My experience with the LG:
In the monitor OSD, the only HDR setting is: Picture mode = HDR effect.
Then, on the whole, you can only adjust the brightness (other settings greyed out).

There is then a certain effect (as with other modes such as video, photo, gaming, etc.),
but the colours are then only at standard.

If you want to set the colours yourself (as I do), this function is not useful in working mode (at most for videos).
