The projector cannot access your Synology NAS directly.

There are many possibilities. Here are two:

Thank you for your answer :D I have now bought an Nvidia Shield, which I use to stream films from the NAS via the Kodi app. I definitely recommend it, even though it's the most expensive version. It's damn fast and Kodi is much clearer than DS Video. Moreover, it can also be used for gaming etc. if you want to :D
