Question about Zyxel GM4100
I am planning to replace the Wingo Internet Box 2 on a DSL connection with this bridge and then use a Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Ultra as a router. Ideally, remote access via VPN should then also be possible. Does anyone have this in use or can judge whether the setup and VPN will work? Thanks for feedback!

I did exactly the same as e7lattma, but with Teleport as I didn't have a fixed IP. Later I switched from Swisscom to Init7 and still use it with the UniFi Dream Machine Pro SE, but now with a fixed IP with Wireshark and Teleport.
Feedback after successful installation. Works perfectly with Wingo.
Use it in combination with Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/ubiquiti-cloud-gateway-ultra-router-43908900).
Procedure:
1. installed Cloud Gateway and set the network to 192.168.2.0/24.
2. cloud gateway had a fixed IP on the Wingo router (IB2).
3. activate DMZ on Wingo router. Forwarded to Cloud Gateway.
4. InternetBox disconnected, Zyxel modem attached and connected to Cloud Gateway.
5. running. And is much faster than the Wingo Box 2. Fibre-to-the-street, previously max. 130 MBit/s downstream, now at 165.

I used it to replace the Swisscom Internetbox 2 and a UniFi Dream Machine with Wireshark VPN behind it. It works perfectly, you just need a little patience after switching it on.
