Question about Synology E10M20-T1

I am running this expansion card in an HP MicroServer Gen8. Since then, it beeps at boot time, waits for user input for maybe 10 seconds and gives the following POST error message: "POST Error: 101-I/O ROM Error". A quick search reveals: "I/O ROM error" means that the error is not detected by the main BIOS, but by some I/O component firmware. Obviously the error situation was not immediately fatal, but that component might require some attention and/or service." However, the card works perfectly. Both SSDs are recognised, as is the Aquantia network controller. Do you have any ideas how to proceed? Is it a warranty case? Could digitec verify that the card also produces POST errors in another board?

You already know that the BIOS of the HPE Microserver G8 can't do anything with m2 NVMe, PXE probably won't work from the port either (but I have no experience with that)
In the BIOS, put the controller in the last position in the BOOT order so that it doesn't even consider it when starting up

I use this card in a Synolgoy NAS without any problems.

To be honest, I find it almost amazing that the card works at all in an HP server... different operating system, probably missing driver support (???) etc....

That's all I can contribute, sorry.

This card is designed to work in a Synology NAS!
It has no business in an HP MicroServer!
