I am using this board with a Ryzen 7800X3D. Is there a way to speed up the booting? Booting takes about twice as long as with my 4 year old Intel. UEFI only is activated, XMP deactivated, only the SSD with Win11 active in the boot menu, the latest motherboard drivers installed. Unfortunately, I can't find a Fast Boot option anywhere in UEFI like with Intel. Initially, I also had the problem that a restart of Win11 meant that the graphics card could not be booted. Somehow this reminds me of the time of my AMD Athlon San Diego, when I switched to Intel precisely because of such problems. Any ideas?
Hello,
I had the same problem with my little brother's PC when I activated XMP. What happens is that the ram is driven each time, which can take a long time. To fix this, there's a parameter that keeps the previous drive. It's called "Memory Context Restore" and it's a parameter in the bios that should be directed to XMP.
Good question, but I don't have the answer. In my case, with the EXPO profite for ram activation, it starts up quite quickly.
My advice is to first check Windows startup and only keep the software that is really necessary that is activated at startup.
To do this, when Windows is open, press the Crl+shift+esc key to open the task manager, go to the startup tab and check which software starts at the same time as Windows.
Personally, I only let Windows software and my anti-virus start up.
And possibly steam or something else, but I limit it a lot.
