I bought a Pulse 6700 XT. It has 1x6 pin and 1x8 pin connectors. Do I need to power both ? Which one/s do I need for the TX 750 ? Many thanks for your support ,)

This should be described in the installation instructions for the graphics card. But basically, all power connections of the graphics card also need power.
