Question about Sennheiser BT T100

I can't see anywhere in the instructions what it means when the unit is permanently lit with the red LED? Does the unit actually switch itself off when the TV is off and the other way round, i.e. switch itself back on when the signal is restored? So is it really off, LED off or does it always stay red, even when the TV is off?

Red LED means stand-by. When the headphones are switched on, the LED turns green and the headphones are connected. The LED is only completely off when the unit is switched off (press for 3 seconds). I can live with this.

A Fiio BTA Pro is rather pointless for RX/TX mode and therefore for a TV...because...what do I want to transmit? Sound? Picture? in which direction? So the question is what do I need the BT device for and where is it connected? PC/stereo system/TV? What is it used for? Audio, video, data transfer??? The use is individual for each person.

Hello

It was quite a long time ago when I had the unit. All I can say is that I do not recommend the unit! Did not convince me!

I would recommend the Fiio BTA Pro!
Top performance and it Bluetooth send and receive.

In addition, LED's are off when the device is switched off.

And it also has a DAC mode for connecting to a hi-fi system!

For has set the search for it!
It costs a little more, but it's worth it.

For operation with Toslink connection from the TV, a power supply unit must be purchased additionally.

I bought one from iFi especially for this purpose.
K55 (see WEB) also sells these devices and power supplies.

You can pay for the device there and try it out at home.

And if it suits you, just return it and get your money back!

Have a nice weekend
