I currently have a Fritzbox 5490 that is slowly but surely giving up the ghost. I was thinking about connecting the USG-Pro directly from the OTO via fibre to the WAN port1 and then via WAN port2 with fibre to the US-24 would that be possible? (SFP) and does anyone have experience with USG and Sunrise + Sunrise Tv ? is the installation difficult ? (Unfi Wlan and controller are already available)

For all those who want or need it:

- Fibre optic connection (e.g. Surnise or Swisscom etc.) with the provider's (SFP port)/fibre optic module on the USG Pro on the WAN SFP port goes without problems immediately recognises (depending on the provider set VLAN)

- USG pro WAN 2 port SFP module on a switch on SFP with fibre also works without problems

Did you plug in the Ubiquiti USG: UniFi Security Gateway Pro 4 directly with the fibre optic cable or first the Sunrise router and then the Ubiquiti USG: UniFi Security Gateway Pro 4?

Accordingly, does this work? sorry to ask the same question again that someone else asked. but I want to be 100% sure.

I would also like to ask if there is an alternative to this product from Ubiquiti with SFP port for the home application area as I have read in the forum that the fan is too loud and I do not want to change it separately if possible.

Thanks for your support

Both SFP ports on the USG Pro are mapped to the WAN1 and WAN2 ports -> fibre LAN connection is not possible. You need the 2500CHF USG XG-8 :-(
