I currently have IronWolf disks for my Synology NAS. Can you recommend EXOS as an alternative? Are EXOS louder than IronWolf?

An IronWolf 16TB is specified with 2.8bel at idle and 3.2 bel in Seek Mode. For the Exos X16, Seagate specifies 2.8bel at idle and 3.0bel in Seek Mode. The Performance Mode would be louder (3.2 and 3.4 bel). It would already work in the Synology NAS. The Compatibility Drive Warning will probably appear once when the NAS detects the disks. But after that, the Synology NAS will leave you alone.
