Question about Ubiquiti UniFi AP-AC-M MESH
I don't understand the difference between MESH and "normal" WiFi products from Ubiquiti. Context: Extended coverage in a multi-storey house. Thanks to Wireless Uplink I can connect several e.g. Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC NanoHD together to extend the coverage. Where exactly are the advantages of the MESH solution or the disadvantages of the wireless uplink solution? The price difference is negligible as I would like to make a fundamental technical decision at the moment: MESH or not.
Hello, with MASH you extend the WLAN wirelessly (similar to a WLAN repeater, only different technology).
Otherwise you would have to connect each additional access point to your network/router via cable. With MASH, you achieve greater coverage without having to lay extra cables.
