Question about Ledger Nano S

I got two Ledger Nano S and set up the first one to get into the settings, then did a factory reset, then set it up again. This step is recommended for ledgers that are not purchased directly from the manufacturer, as there have been scams where coins have been stolen from a pre-initialised ledger. Does anyone here know whether the ledgers at Galaxus are purchased directly from the manufacturer? Then I could save that for the next device. The packaging looks impeccable, but that's not very meaningful.

Digitec / Galaxus is an official partner of Ledger. You can therefore use it with confidence.

Since you can return all versions of the Ledger (10% discount if the package is opened), I would EVER take this step. Even if Galaxus enjoys your trust, they will hardly throw away the returns. They are more likely to shrink-wrap them in plastic film.

I would always do it, believing does not mean knowing! Not your keys nit your coins!
