I have a humidifier that is not Smart. However, I don't have WLAN in the basement. Can I use the Switchbot without a WLAN or network connection? And would it also be possible to control the device with a hygrometer without WLAN?

The device works with Bluetooth. The range is pretty bad, i don't use it anymore. I recommend a smart plug for you.
