I have a mainboard which is equipped with a power supply with 8+4Pin for the processor (AM5). Does the cable fit? And on the power supply I still have 2x 8pin free, can I only plug in 4 with an 8pin on the power supply?

The cable is not intended for a mainboard, but for a 4000 Nvidia graphics card. What exactly are you looking for? If you want nice cabling, I recommend using the Extention kit from CableMod.
