Hello, I can't rate the Acer.  I have several Netgear mobile routers in use and am very satisfied. 
Of course, the quality and speed is primarily due to the telecom provider of the SIM card and the reception at the location. The mobile router is easy to configure via the app. The laptop can also be connected via RJ45. For high speeds, the 5G router would also be an alternative - but still expensive.

I have the additional antenna - but have never really used it.
