I have a STATIV VANGUARD PT 178 that is about 20 years old.
I lost my quick release plate on holiday. Now I would like to know the dimensions of the underside of the VANGUARD QS 36.
On my tripod the inside dimensions where the plate is inserted are 35 mm X 37 mm.
If this should fit, I would then order.

The manufacturer doesn't seem to give any information on this and unfortunately I didn't find any other precise answers to your question. I assume, however, that this should be possible. If not, you should be able to return the item if necessary.
