I have google chromecast plugged into my TV. I use it to stream netflix and youtube etc. from my tablet to my TV. Now I want to run the sound via the HT-SF150 soundbar. How does that work? Does anyone have any experience with this?

In my house, the sound bar is connected to the TV (HDMI + optical) and all sources go through the sound bar.
