Question about Synology BeeStation

I have installed the BeeStation. It's actually running perfectly. however, there is one small flaw: the "MyBeeStation Desktop App" only works if I want to access the BeeStation outside my own network. the DesktopApp cannot find the BeeStation within my home network. Is this a known problem?
