I have not been able to update since I bought it in the spring. I always get the following message: Software could not be updated. A network or server error has occurred. Try again later. But I can update apps normally. No other network or server errors have occurred so far. What can I do?
I picked mine up on 16.11 and installed it. A system update came yesterday, but it went through without a hitch. Resetting certainly helps, just make sure you have a good Wi-Fi connection.
Yes, one possibility I found on the net is to make a backup and then reset to factory settings.
I have not had this problem with my device so far.
I have the update from 1 October on it. It worked well. I might want to reset it.
