I have put together a computer with this mainboard and now windows reports that no tpm is available during installation. Do I have to install a separate tpm module on this board? Or should this be present on the board?

Helpful answer
The mainboard supports a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) function, but this is implemented as fTPM (Firmware TPM). You do not need to install a separate TPM module, but activate the fTPM function in the BIOS. To do this, go to "Advanced Mode" in the BIOS settings, then to "Settings" and "Miscellaneous" or "Peripherals" and activate "AMD CPU fTPM".

I have a supplementary question, which fTPM should we activate? I have pluton and ASP. ChatGPT tells me that ASP is the most common because of the windows version but Pluto is the most recent. I would like to know which one to choose and why.

Thanks

Yes, some motherboards require a separate TPM (Trusted Platform Module), although others have one built in. If your motherboard does not have a built-in TPM, you will need to install a compatible TPM module on a dedicated port (often called a TPM header). Consult your motherboard manual to check whether a TPM module is required and where to connect it if so. https://fnf-games.io
