I have the following connector at the end of the cable, about 20 metres: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/digitus-geschirmter-rj45-stecker-zur-feldkonfektionierung-awg-22-27-10-gbit-ethernet-poe-staubschutz-10346346 I have one side on the router and the other side on the switch. Unfortunately, I only have a throughput of 10/100Mbit instead of a gigabit throughput. LAN connection on the router is gigabit capable. Is it to do with Cross and Straight? Or are the other-pair specifications on the connector wrong? Can anyone help me?

No, connect both sides of a cable according to the same connection codes. Crossed cables are no longer needed nowadays. If necessary, the devices do this themselves.

PS: As a rule, plugs are not connected directly to installation cables like the one you are using (even though there are such products). Installation cable belongs on permanently mounted sockets, from where you go to the device with a patch cable.

If only a 100MB connection is established instead of 1GB, this means in most cases that a wire is interrupted at one point. 100MB only needs 2 pairs/4 wires, but for 1GB all 4 pairs/8 wires are mandatory.

You have connected both connectors according to the same colour code? so either both sides according to 568A or 568B?

Perhaps you should first completely reconnect the first connector. Then test. If the problem still persists, completely redo the other connector.
