Question about AVM FRITZ!repeater 3000 WLAN Mesh International / CH
I intend to add this device to my FRITZ!Box 7583 as a W-LAN distributor. However, the W-LAN of the box is too far away for it to be amplified. So can I connect these two devices via LAN or is there a better device for this purpose? Could I then switch off the W-LAN of the box so that it doesn't radiate uselessly around the basement or does that have to remain switched on for this to work?

I have solved it exactly like this and it has worked perfectly for three years. Fritzbox in the multimedia cabinet (W-Lan deactivated) and repeater (W-Lan activated) centrally in the flat. The two devices are connected with a LAN cable.
