Question about Draytek Vigor167

I just bought the Draytek Vigor 167 and the Dream Machine Pro from ubiquiti and thought it would be easy. Nothing there. By default, the Vigor 167 is set as a pure modem without DHCP. First I installed the new firmware and set it exactly as recommended in various forums and videos (DSL / VDSL tag on 7). DSL signal is available (displayed on the user interface of the Vigor 167). So far so good. I started the UDM Pro and the installation (via iPhone via Bluetooth) but when it tried to connect to the internet to get an IP address it always said "no internet connection". After several times I set the Vigor 167 as a router with DHCP (automatic IP address retrieval as VDSL PPoE is no longer necessary or possible in Switzerland). DSL signal available. On the Mac I set the environment back to automatic and it also gets an IP address but when I call up an Internet page (e.g. digitec) then it also has no connection to the Internet. I am slowly getting desperate. I plugged the old Fritzbox back in and it promptly worked again and the UDM Pro was able to continue with the installation and finish it. What am I missing???

If you write "in Switzerland" and are with Swisscom, then your VLAN ID is 10 and not 7 as preset for Germany. Simply go to the web interface of the 167 and change the VLAN ID from 7 to 10 and everything works.

I have the same combination, but the UDM Pro came first and a Fritzbox was replaced by Vigor. Initially the IP addresses blocked each other because both wanted ...0. I manually set the UDM Pro to .10. For the installation I had to connect one of the 8 UDM Pro LAN ports to the second yellow port of the Vigor in addition to the UDM Pro port to the Vigor. There is a detailed explanation in some US forum...hope this helps you.
