I just found out that I can only set up the camera by opening an account with the manufacturer in the app. I don't want an account with a Chinese manufacturer of surveillance cameras. Unfortunately, I could not find this information in the item description before I bought it. Can anyone recommend an alternative product for indoor use where data protection is better regulated (price secondary)? I will return this camera. Thank you!
