I just purchased this headset, and I am trying to use it on a standard Fedora 31 laptop. I can pair it and I can get some sound through, but it is terrible quality and apparently only mono. This could of course be casued by the bluetooth on the laptop, Is there a chance that the dongle will improve that? or have I purchased the wrong headset. and it can only be used on Windows (and Mac - I see in the question above)? Are there any other fedora users out there, who have successfully made this work? On a second note, there seems to be no downloadable documentation for this headset on the providers page: FreeVoice Space Stereo NC - Is it an old model that has been phased out?
After having figured out how to allow the dongle to replace the build in bluetooth device, it works. Stereo - fine quality - I can end sessions with the button on the side.
I now have a dongle (original from Freevoice), but that just makes it impossible to connect the headset at all. Are there any liux Gnome users out there who actually made this headset work?
I would love to ask support at Freevoice, but their page is throwing lot's of certificate issues and access problems. No information to be had there. :-/
