I live in the country and have very weak internet due to my copper line. Would the router be an option in combination with a digitec connect 5G subscription?

Yes, that would work, but 5G might not be as well developed in the countryside as in large urban areas, depending on the location. I find the price of 470 quite high, there is also a very good device from Netgear that can receive up to 1.2 Gbit/s via LTE 4G. The Wi-Fi coverage of the Netgear router is also excellent. The reception performance is also excellent.

Netgear Orbi 4G LTE WiFi

The device is very unobtrusive and has two very strong built-in antennas for LTE 4G. Optionally, two additional antennas could be connected, but this should not be necessary thanks to the good reception performance.
