I noticed that often in vendor compability lists only the HX421C14FBK2/16 are listed. However, this one is the HX421C14FB2K2/16 (plus ne 2 after the FB) is it still compatible?

Yes, this should normally also be compatible. The difference is that the HX421C14FBK2/16 is single-rank memory and the HX421C14FB2K2/16 is dual-rank memory.
