I own an AIO Lenovo Ideacentre A730, currently with a 5400RPM HDD. I would like to replace it with an SSD and make sure in advance that it is compatible (interface, form etc).

The A730 seems to have an mSATA interface in addition to the classic SATA.
It seems to work, see https://forums.lenovo.com/t5...
Whether it is possible to boot from mSATA would still have to be checked. I assume that it is possible.

It is very unlikely that the HD is connected with mSATA. It is much more likely that the HDD is connected via normal SATA. Therefore, you probably want to buy an SSD with a SATA connection (e.g. this one Samsung 850 EVO Basic (500GB, 2.5")).
