Question about ASUS ThunderboltEX 3
I own the Asus Prime z370-A ii. I connected the device and connected the Kibel to the TB header and set the required BIOS settings. Then downloaded and installed the Thunderbolt software. The device is not recognised. I am currently updating my PC which is running Windows 10. Is the device compatible with the Z370-A ii at all?

I have exactly the same motherboard. Unfortunately, the board doesn't work for me under Windows either. It was also not usable for my Hackintosh, so I sold the thing on. It should actually run with this board, but this is now doubtful.
P.S. If you google "asus thunderboltex 3 installation", you will find plenty of instructions, some of them very detailed, on BIOS settings, installation under Windows or on Hackintosh. It seems that some have managed to get the card to work.
The device should be compatible with any board that has TB headers - and even more so with Asus. This is the case with your board, so you should be able to do it via BIOS settings. However, I can't help you concretely and through practical experience, because I haven't connected the card yet - first I have to install a new board and a new CPU.
